A Bow Rehair includes:
- Replacing the hair with quality Mongolian horsehair -white (standard), brown or black
- Cleaning the stick
- Polishing the metal parts
- Inspect for any damage
Your bow should be rehaired when:
- Hair is missing
- Tension is uneven
- Hair is stretched or bow will not tighten
- Hair is dirty
- It takes a great deal of rosin to get sound
- Every 6-12 months of playing
- Your bow has been sitting for a while
Shipping & Returns
Shipping & Returns
Shipping is available within the lower 48 states. We only ship with couriers who offer tracking, insurance and delivery confirmation. Generally, we will require a signature for delivery. If you request delivery without a signature, you will be responsible for any occurance after the courier has confirmed delivery.
You are responsible for shipping costs on returns. Returns must be received in the same packaging, and arrive free of damage to receive store credit. We will gladly help facilitate proper shipping of returns through our chosen courier.

Upgrade Credit
When you are ready for an upgrade, trade in your current Visus Lux instrument. If you've taken great care of your current instrument, we will give you its full purchase price as credit towards a new instrument within 3 years.

We want you to be happy with your instrument. We will give you store credit towards the purchase of a different replacement instrument once your return has been received. You are responsible for return shipping.
